At the 1959 was established wrapping up - packing machine special design bureau (SKB) and the company JSC PAKMA, which is now a leader in food packaging - packaging machines and process equipment design and manufacture of the beginning.

At the 1987-1990 under license, in cooperation with the German firm BENHIL, was created a block of butter filling and packing in cardboard boxes line BENHIL 8362/8540/8541.

Stock Company “PAKMA” was established in 1992 after privatization of Marijampolė packing equipment special construction bureau, which started to work in 1959.

1991-1993, the company designed and manufactured the first curd cheese production line GSL. Since then the company has been recognized JSC PAKMA purpose equipment as manufacturing leader. Today  over 170 lines, not only in Lithuania but also Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Poland, the Czech Republic and Canada.

At the 1998, Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, the modernization of production, improvement of working conditions, product mix and market expansion the company has successfully employed corporate winner Honorary diploma. In 2002 and 2003 JSC “PAKMA” was recognized as one of the best Lithuanian Exporters. A year later, in range at the medium companies, we became the laureate of the most efficient operating company by turnover and profitability. Since the 2003 launch of the company branch in Kaunas, expanded the company specializes in - designed packaging machinery bakery and confectionery industry, transportation systems, non-standard equipment for the food industry.

The company has implemented an automated design system SolidWorks, enabling the development of the necessary engineering and manufacturing documentation, draw diagrams and drawings. This is an intelligent, integrated graphical environment for conceptual and detailed three-dimensional models and their collection design and maintenance of project documentation design. At the 2001 company implemented the Quality Management System ISO 9001, providing equipment design, development, production, distribution and quality of care, and in 2009 our company, first of all Lithuanian manufacturers of machinery, served with good manufacturing practice certificate - it is added to our product safety and quality assurance .

Company PAKMA products meet the European Community's Machinery Directive and bears the CE marking of conformity.
