The machine consists of these main parts:

It is a continuous linear machine. The conveyor delivers jars and the chute from the bunker delivers covers. While moving along the transporter a jar catches a cover that lies in the chute. The cover is twisted with the help of pressing and twisting belts moving at different speed. The jars are stably fixed and held on the transporter with the help of two belts moving at the same speed as the transporter does. Twisting and transference belts are moistened with water. In order to soften the hermetic material of the covers dry steam is spread up the jars. |
